Those who re-elected G.W. Bush in 04

Those who re-elected G.W. Bush in 04,

Those who re-elected G.W. Bush in 04 owe the rest of us an apology or should at least ask the rest of us for out forgiveness. If you voted for W in 2000 I can write that off as a mistake. However, 2004 was different and those who re-elected such an idiot for President should also share in the responsibility for the mess he has made of our country.

I am totally dis-satisfied with both Republicans and Democrats. We've got priority issues that need to be addressed like ILLEGAL immigration and neither party is actually going to do enough about it. Now that the others have dropped out of the Presidential campaign we're left with Obama and Hillary. Obama is supported by Kennedy who helped write the Amnesty bill and Hillary isn't any better. On the Republican side we have McCain who also helped write the Amnesty bill. Where's real ILLEGAL immigration reform for the 70% of Americans who demand it?

I'm ready for an Independent President! www.naderexplore08.org

Sorry but I think illegal immigration is way down the list of important issues.

Ending the war, some form of national health care, reducing tax breaks for the wealthy and especially for corporations are all much more important issues that the next president will have to try to address. Plus its likely that the next president will appoint 3 to 4 supreme court justices. While I would have preferred Cuninich or Edwards, I would stil take Hillary or Obama before any of the corporate war mongering republicans who are running. I'm leaning towards Obama in case you are wondering.

Obama and Hillary both are essentially for Amnesty. Obama being endorsed by Kennedy and Hillary's position isn't much different. And their position is far from McCain's since he helped write the Amnesty bill. 70% of Americans polled say ILLEGAL immigration is in the top 5 issues that need to be addressed. Mostly because NOTHING has been done about securing our borders at all. The other issues you mention are important too but so is this.

Sorry, I genuinely think that illegal immigration was picked as an important issue by the corporate media to distract from several of the other items on my list that would effect corporations negatively. 70% of people might say its important but its because the coverage has rammed that idea down their throats. 70% of the people would probably be protesting exxon making the largest profit for a corporation EVER during these troubled times if the media would report that story with the same enthusiasm as the relatively benign immigration problem.

No, the fact is that the corporate media has actually been distracting us away *FROM* the issue of ILLEGAL immigration since the 1986 Amnesty went into effect. Maybe you aren't aware of the $200,000,000 dollar Amnesty agenda promotional campaign being set into motion as I type this - A lot of that money has come the Mexican government. Why isn't this advertised in the media? Rather than spend it helping their own people, they spend it to influence American policy. Congress the white house and all of the American people should be taking to the streets over this. What if Russia did this? It would be the RED SCARE all over again.

Which why it is the 900 pound gorilla that it is now. There are many studies that demonstrate how imperative it is that this issue finally be addressed. Ignoring them only exacerbates the problem which is again, why it is such an issue now.
